MAy Review-low key and lots of self reflection.

May was a pretty slow month for me. I didn’t make much art, but I did finish a sketchbook and start a new one! I’ve gotten into painting more lately, and will be making more pen and watercolor art probably for the rest of the year. I’ve also been getting deep into to surrealism, and I’m working on some new abstracts and pen drawings. I’m in the process of moving, and will have a new studio space shortly! I cant wait to get back to making larger scale art and get back to acrylic painting. I also had a birthday, read a ton of books, and visited a new to me national park (Congaree) in the rain, and took some Polaroids and experimented with transparencies and emulsion lifts. I’ll share those when I have a batch that’s worth sharing. after the move I’ll be making more art and hopefully having more travels!
